This elegant brooch-pin from Maison Sacco Baret was inspired by the Japanese art of flower arrangement.  A tradition that dates back to the 7th century.

AN ODE TO THE ART OF PLUMASSERIE

The feather applications are very specific and calculated, as each plume is carefully chosen and applied by hand. After being ethically sourced, the feathers are calibrated then washed and steamed to restore color and texture. Finally, they are cut and shaped specifically for the chosen technique and worked entirely by hand.
